Hey kiddo!

Why is it that older folks I work with feel the need to call me kiddo? I don't call them Gramps or Granny! As a working professional you would think that I would be respected better then that, but no. We, as the younger generation, are to respect our elders but our elders respecting us? This has been happening for a awhile and at first it didn't bother me but as it went on I thought, I'm and adult and a professional and I don't like being treated inferior among equals. Yes, they have far more experience then me but I treat them with the respect they deserve and have earned through their years of hard work. But, does that mean that because I don't have as much experience that I'm below them and can be treated as such?

Ah, this is just the angry ranting of a person that is in a funk and if you ask me in a few day if this bothers me I'll probably say, "not really."

Rob Zombie

I went to a Rob Zombie concert on 10/30 and it rocked! I was stage right and in the very front which was a great position as it allowed me to slap hands with Rob. Here's the veiw from where I was (below). Not too shabby of a picture for using a cell phone! I recommend going to see him even if your not the biggest fan, he puts on one hell of a show!

I saw him at the RECC (Pioneer Hall) in Duluth, which was a great venue to see him because it wasn't a huge stadium crowd that to get good seats you have to pay through the nose. I paid 30 bucks and was in front! Needless to say I've got that after concert glow and am all charged up on muisc, an essential of life for me.
